Preview and Invitation for January 31st

In the first chapter of John, we found Nathanael recognizing and speaking of the authority of Jesus, "You are the Son of God, the King of Israel."  This week, in the first chapter of Mark, we find a demon, an "unclean spirit," cast out of a man in the synagogue in Capernaum professing, "I know who you are, the Holy One of God."  We hope you'll join us Sunday for worship at 10:15 when the message will be "The One with Authority."

Bring On 2021!

welcome 2021What a welcome!  On behalf of my family, I want to thank everyone in the church family for such a warm welcome to this church!  Each of you have made me feel right at home and I am very excited about what 2021 will hold for us.

December was a busy month!  Starting with our 2nd Sunday of Advent and all the way through the 1st Sunday after Christmas, we’ve had a wonderful month of worship.  As we learned in our December worship, nothing can prevent the hope, peace, joy and love of Jesus Christ from entering our world.

It was a pleasure to spend Christmas Eve with you!  Our candlelight Christmas Eve service was very meaningful and the Christmas carols we sang brought joy to our hearts.

Many of you use social media and our church is active on social media across many platforms.  We have our Facebook Public Page (newfpc).  We have our Facebook Group Page (newfpc).  Our Twitter account can be found at @newfpc.  On Instagram, we are @new_fpc.  Our website is www.newfpc.com. And we have a YouTube channel which is used to live stream our services.  Our Youtube channel name is (you guessed it) newfpc.
