"NO MORE BUSINESS AS USUAL"

Psalm 1:1-6

This pandemic season offers us an opportunity to reboot.

Psalm 1

• God lays out the pattern of a blessed life.
• God lays out the choices we are called to make.

The blessed way begins with "no."

• The Christian needs to live with no peer pressure.

The blessed way is lived with God.

• "Meditate" means more than "goldfish attention span."

The blessed way is slow.

• Trees grow slowly.
• We may need for our souls to catch up with our bodies.

The blessed way ends well.

• Is it worth it?

We don’t have to wait for a pandemic to end before we begin.  Maybe our prayer should be, “Please, Lord, keep us from wanting to get back to business as usual.”
