Don’t know if you are aware of this, but our church library had a bit of a facelift a while back and is now open for you to come in and check out a book or two. Our featured books this month are:
- “Before You Go - Making Great Decisions You Won’t Regret" by TD Jake.
- “Audacious” by Beth Moore. Beth Moore is a gifted author who continues to serve the Lord with her ability to express herself passionately. She studies and goes deeply in her exploration of scripture. This book draws the reader closer to the Lord and helps you renew your faith. She has outdone herself with Audacious.
- “Hope Again” by Charles Swindoll.
- “Uprooting the Spirit of Fear” by Dr. Creflo A. Dollar. Creflo is a great pastor and author. In this book he gets down to the root of fear and its companions - doubt, worry, and anxiety. Creflo talks about some specific keys to uprooting the spirit of fear.

Visit our new library, peruse the collection and check out a book! The old card catalog system has been replaced with a simple check out book. The sign out book is on the library desk. Write your name, the title of the book you have borrowed and contact information. Place the book in the return basket when you have finished reading. If you desire, write a brief personal reaction in the sign out book.
Thank you to everyone who helped with the renovation effort through labor or donations: Shirley Michael painter/decorator, Rick Lee- ceiling repair engineer and installer, Janet and James McClain- lights and fan, Sean and Kari McCance- library table, and Pete Phelan- bookshelves. We hope for additional donations to purchase blinds for the 2 windows in the room. If you would like to sponsor a book in honor or memory of someone, or if you have book donations, please speak with Peggy Phelan.
Featured books this month focus on the Persecuted Church. Check-out one of these titles:
- Extreme Devotion Voice of the Martyrs - Daily Devotional Stories of believers who sacrificed everything for Jesus.
- Tortured for Christ by Richard Wumbrand - Biography of Wumbrand’s life as a persecuted pastor in Communist Romania who was incarcerated and tortured for 8 years for his faith. “A man really believes not what he recites in a creed, but what he is willing to die for.”
- Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus by Nabeed Quareshi - A devout American Muslim shares his home life and religious upbringing as a Muslim and his intense quest as a college student for the ultimate truth- Allah and the Koran or Jesus and the Bible.

Remember, it's library, not liberry. Peggy Phelan and Shirley Michael have been hard at work revitalizing and refreshing our library. The books have been weeded, painting is complete, and new shelving units are in place. Monetary donations are still being received for the remaining decor items. Peggy and Shirley have asked us to list our favorite go-to websites (in addition to this one) and internet resources (Bible studies, Sunday School curricula, on-line devotions, etc.). Books are now available for checkout. You may browse the collection, choose a book, and then sign the book out in the book log on the library table. When you return the book, leave a comment for the next reader and place the book in the "return" basket. P and S are hoping that many will enjoy the books and the atmosphere, and find time to read, reflect, and grow in Jesus. Thanks to all who have contributed monetarily or helped the gals with their work.
