December Youth News

December2Thanks to everyone who contributed to our Angel Tree Fundraiser!  At the time of this article we have received $920.00 for the children of our community.  We are so blessed to have the support of our church family.  That support helps our youth in our mission and in their pursuit of a deeper relationship with our Savior and Lord Jesus Christ!  Thanks so much!

Our annual road trip during the Christmas Break will be on December 27th.  We will send out an announcement in plenty of time.

It’s hard to believe but summer will be here before you know it.  Our high school mission trip will be to Lithia, Florida June 22nd through the 29th.  We will be working with Beth-El Farmworkers Ministry.  The cost for the trip is $250.00, and registration with $150 deposit is due by February 9th.  Please see Rob for more details and to get a registration form.

November Youth News

novemberWe'll have our annual fundraiser meal for Angel Tree shopping on Wednesday, November 7th.  Please help us support the children of our community as we shop for gifts to show them how much they are valued and loved.  We appreciate the generosity you show, and we pray we are reflecting our Creator, Sustainer, Savior, and Lord to those we serve in this local mission.  Thanks so much!

Our annual Fall Retreat at Camp Loucon is November 9th - 11th.  Please be in prayer for those who are going and those who are leading on the weekend.  The cost this year is $35 per person and that includes room, food, and activities.  We hope to have another memorable retreat as we seek to know Him more deeply and love Him more dearly.

October Youth News

octoberYou may have noticed that we haven’t scheduled a youth group fundraiser yet this Fall.  We have decided to ask those who would like to contribute to the youth programs here at FPC to please do so in their offerings, as the Lord leads them.  We will have our annual Angel Tree fundraiser for the shopping trip in November and our end-of-year Senior Celebration/Grill Masters/Sweet Treats competition fundraiser. Thanks for your continued support of the youth who participate in our church youth groups.

On November 9th-11th we'll have our Fall Retreat at Camp Loucon.  This retreat is for the middle and high school youth of the Presbytery of Western Kentucky.  Flyers will come out soon and details will be included.  The cost for the weekend has increased somewhat due to increases in Loucon’s activity and meal prices.  We hope to have another memorable retreat.  Thanks for your prayers!
