THE BIBLICAL VIEW: Your Identity Is Found in Who You Are

  • 1 Corinthians 6:9-11

Many people work hard at the Christian life.  Many are doing overtime efforts.  They go to church.  They go to Sunday School and Bible Study.  They pray.  They read their Bibles.  They try to do better.  Yet, they often fail.  The effort doesn’t seem to be working.  They have made promises, committed, and re-committed.  They are sincere Christians.  They are honest and doing their best.  The problem is they are doing their best.  Many Christians are so focused on trying to get “being a Christian” right that they don’t realize Christ is right there inside of them, wanting to simply live through them.  Many Christians have a difficult time getting out of their own way in trying to be good Christians.
