Acts 3:1-10

What is your faith strong enough to accomplish “in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth”?

Extra-ordinary Living on Ordinary Days

  • Divine appointments rarely come with embossed invitations.
  • They usually happen in the midst of ordinary routines.
  • Good reason for committing your way unto the Lord…every day.  Psalm 37:5

The Transforming Power of Jesus

  • "They were amazed and realized what being with Jesus had done for them.”  Acts 4:13
  • God uses ordinary people.  If Jesus is extra-ordinary, we don’t have to be.
  • God will empower our witness.  “I am the vine; you are the branches.”  (John 15:5)  Branches take on the appearance of the vine.  Shouldn’t we be looking more and more like Jesus?

Living Proof

  • How does ‘religion’ explain a crippled beggar dancing into a prayer meeting?
  • What “living proof” are you willing to show everyone?

Preparing for Divine Appointments

  • Ask of Jesus the questions Paul asked of Jesus.  "Who are you, Lord?”  'What do you want me to do?”

“I have decided to follow Jesus.  No turning back.”

“Lord, speak to me, that I may speak in living echoes of Thy tone.”
